A wonderful new addition has been added to the Carlson household! News came in early December that a baby was on the way and they had been chosen as the parents to this new arrival! After a drawn-out anticipation of some extra weeks, the perfect little darling arrived right on time in great condition and ready to greet the world. Isn't she just gorgeous!
Naturally, this will mean some changes in the household, but they are very welcome changes.
HAPPY VALENTINES' DAY KATIE!!
Celebrating her first holiday was a big occasion! This little angel is loved by many people in many states already!
Aunt Katie enjoys spending a few minutes with her new neice. She states that good aunties may not know so much how to hold babies as when to hold them. Such as when they have a pacifier or bottle to keep from crying!
Aunt Kendra and soon-to-be Uncle Chris also enjoyed the visit with our new little angel.
Katie with her daddy and her aunt and closest-in-age cousin, Kyle who is only 4 days in difference. Here they are wearing matching outfits! I guess Kyle didn't like the idea so much.
Things are going great for Katie and her family and she is a happy, healthy and well-loved little bundle of joy! Polly admits that it took some doing to catch some of these smiles on film though even though she gives them freely!
When Katie was released to Polly and Eric, they flew to Washington before going home. During those brief few hours, Grandpa Joe was able to rendevous and meet his newest grand-daughter. He and his father, Max, and grandson, Joshua took a trip on Amtrack to have their own side adventure on the way to meeting this new little one.
It was a great adventure for Joshua to ride on a train with Grandpa.
Katie is blessed to have contact with her natural parents as well. Alanna made a trip to California to visit with the daughter she so lovingly placed with Polly and Eric.
Polly attended the California Open house for her sister, Kendra's wedding and was all smiles to be able to show off her beautiful daughter and celebrate her fist Mothers' Day!
